The CWM Foundation works to provide these children with the basic necessities of life – food, shelter, a proper education, and love – so that the children can one day attain their dreams.

Donating money to the CWM Foundation will help the foundation achieve its goal of nurturing orphans, and will thereby help orphans fulfill their own destinies.

future plans

The CWM Foundation aims to build homes wherever needed. The goal for the existing home is to admit forty orphans every year hence. Plans are being made to also include a nursery school on the grounds (which will eventually expand into a primary school).

According to UNICEF, there are approximately 2.3 million orphans under the age of 17 years living in Kenya. Do you think these children can take care of themselves in a country where nearly 2 million children, aged between 5-17 years, are working children (Source: ILO)? Moreover, per the Government of Kenya, only 3.2% of these children have attained a secondary school education, and 12.7% have had no formal schooling at all (Source: ILO).

To sponsor charitable activities that empower and equip disadvantaged children and youth to reach their destiny.

The foundation reaches its goals by establishing and maintaining children’s homes with schooling
facilities, as well as by providing academic grants for qualified and needy students.

accomplishments

The foundation established its first children’s home (January 10, 2005), and admitted one orphan at that point. Today, this home houses forty children (aged between 2-4 years).
