According to UNICEF, there are over 2 billion children in this world - and every second child lives in poverty. Also per UNICEF, over 13 million children under the age of 15 are orphaned. Moreover, there are many children who have been displaced due to conflicts and natural disasters.

Teddy Bears for Hope achieves its goal by sending teddy bears to children around the world (whose lives have been marked by tragedy).

So far, Teddy Bears for Hope has donated 35 teddy bears to Sudan, 30 bears to the Syracuse Red Cross, and 55 bears to the city of Syracuse in New York, USA.
